Easy Peasy Banana Bread

This is my favorite Banana Bread recipe. Its really easy and really yummy. I frequently make it for breakfast for my family.

Here it is.....

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup mashed bananas (3 medium)
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon zest (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

First, preheat your oven to 350.

All the ingredients.
Grease the bottom of your loaf pan.

Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

In a different bowl mash bananas.

Add egg, sugar, cooking oil, and lemon peel if desired.

Mix well.

Next, Add egg mixture to dry mixture all at once.

Stir just until moistened.  (batter should be lumpy)   Fold in nuts if using.

Pour batter into your greased loaf pan.

Put in the oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

 Let cool.

And Voila!!!!!! (Excuse the top, one of my siblings decided to go for an early taste test)
ENJOY!!!!!!
